FAQ
1. How is my roommate determined?
We try to pair you up with what is listed on the application as much as possible.
2. I am a beginner am I going to feel out of place?
Absolutely not. The groups are set according to the skills individuals can perform. Everyone can feel comfortable in the group they are in and have a chance to learn new skills.
3. What should I bring with me to camp?
Linens, pillow, sleeping bag or blankets, a small fan, spending money (we will go to the OSU Book store).
4. What do we eat?
All meals will be served at Market Place West Food Court. The food court is next to the campus dormitory. Many food choices are available: a selection of entrees, vegetarian selection, salads, desserts and beverages.
5. Where do I go for checkin/check-out?
Overnight campers will check in/out at the dorms. Daycampers will check in/out at Gill Coliseum with the Daycamper Counselor.
6. Can somebody other than my parents pick me up?
If a child is being picked up by someone other than the parents we must have a written permission slip stating that she may be released to whomever will pick her up.
7. Are the parents allowed to be spectators at camp?
Yes as long as they stay in the stands. At Valley Gymnastics Center the seating area is upstairs.
8. Can my parents stay overnight?
Yes, but not in the dorms. Please visit www.visitcorvallis.com for all the hotel listings.
